Kimberly & John - A North Carolina Wedding

Kimberly and John reside in Colorado but wanted to come home to North Carolina for their wedding.  The couple chose Bona Manzee for the venue which is in Mebane and is an excellent choice for an outdoor event.  When we were meeting before her wedding, we knew with her wedding being in the summer that it was going to be hot but they were hopeful for cooler temps.  Well, it turned out that her wedding day was the hottest day of the year with temps running to 103!  Not only that, but being from Colorado made it worse since they are use to lower humidity.  We worked around it though, planning each portrait session in the shade and keeping them shortened.  All in all, it was an amazing wedding and everything worked out in the end.  Even better, her wedding was featured in Triad Weddings Magazine!  How cool is that!  Enjoy these samples from their big day :)
